How To Get A Dewy Natural Makeup Look in Winter

Winter in New England is tough on my skin. Between stuffy indoor heat and harsh weather, it can leave my skin feeling dull, irritated and dry. There’s nothing worse than putting on makeup and it flakes off or looks cakey because my skin is so dry. Dewy, natural makeup starts with hydrated skin and I’ve been enjoying the new Farmacy 10% Niacinamide Night Mask.  It helps strengthen skin’s moisture barrier with 10% niacinamide, and restores hydration overnight. I love how it melts into skin with a light gel consistency. It doesn’t leave a mess on my pillow and I wake up with a hydrated, even-looking complexion in the morning. You only need a little bit of this product to wake up with skin that looks and feels refreshed, and pores that appear smaller. I used it on a wind/sunburn after a long day on the mountain last week and it made a huge difference the next day. The redness and irritation was gone.

I got this Tower28 Beauty SOS Save.Our.Skin Daily Rescue Facial Spray last spring and I absolutely love it. I use it before and after I apply my makeup and throughout the day. I keep one on my desk for a spritz throughout the work day to keep my skin hydrated. I love that it’s fragrance free and reduces redness and irritation.
