The Clean Hair Products I’m Loving Right Now

Clean Hair Products

I blinked and my hair is so long (still tons of baby hairs from the regrowth after so much of it fell out postpartum)! I’m finally getting a haircut this week, but I’ve managed to keep it fairly healthy in the meantime. I think the key is minimal washing/heat styling and consistently using heat protectant. I switch up the products I use fairly often. It helps prevent build up which is especially helpful for my straight, fine hair. I typically wash my hair 2-3 times a week, and do at least one hair mask, usually on Sundays. Right now my routine is JVN Shampoo and Conditioner twice a week and then Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal Shampoo + Adwoa Beauty Blue Tansy Mask once a week. Here are the clean hair products I’m loving right now.

JVN Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner: My biggest struggle with shampoos is finding products that don’t irritate my scalp. This one from JVN is gentle and hydrating. The conditioner is great too. The other shampoo I really like is Innersense Hairbath. Both are color safe too. One pro tip for shampooing and conditioning, shampoo only gets applied to the scalp (it will rinse through the ends) and conditioner only gets applied half-way down your head to the ends.

Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal Shampoo: This shampoo is amazing for dry, itchy or irritated scalp. It has the most amazing texture, it’s light and fluffy and has a cooling sensation when applied. I like to use it on days I also do a deep conditioning mask.

Adwoa Beauty Blue Tansy Mask: This mask is amazing for hydration and doesn’t weigh down my fine hair. Only apply it half way down your head to the ends. Really good for color treated hair!

Dae Hair Cactus Flower Leave In Conditioner: I spray this on every time after washing my hair. It’s a really good heat protectant and the product lasts a long time.

The Beauty Edit Detangle & Massage Hair Brush: I’ve always used a wet brush, until I got this one and wow, game changer. My hair never tangles when I brush it wet and my hair is really long.

Dyson Hair Dryer: Full transparency this was gifted to me as part of my long term partnership with Dyson. It’s pricey and I was someone that never used a hair dryer. My hair is so long and normally takes forever to dry but this cuts the time in half and my hair is super shiny afterwards. I’ve fried my hair in the past with hair dryers and with this one my hair looks better than ever. So my review is, it definitely works, but it’s an investment! I’m keeping an eye out for any Black Friday sales.

This is great! Would you say your hair is dry or more on the oily side? I have fine, relatively straight but pretty oily hair…I’ve had a struggle finding clean products (especially shampoo and conditioner) that work well!
