Clean Beauty Natural Makeup Tutorial (Video Links)

Jess Ann Kirby shares her every makeup routine with all clean beauty, non toxic products.

Jess Ann Kirby shares a clean beauty makeup look for everyday glowing skin.

I haven’t really mentioned it yet but I decided to do a four week clean beauty challenge. All non-toxic beauty; makeup, skincare, and hair products for four weeks. I started about a week ago and honestly I am loving it. I was already using about 70% clean products so it wasn’t a huge change but there were a few products I was really holding out on giving up. Honestly, my skin feels really good (here’s what I’ve been using), my makeup is quick and easy and I’ve been LOVING this new shampoo and conditioner. The world of clean beauty can be a bit confusing, there’s a lot of greenwashing with brands positioning themselves and their products as clean when in fact, they are not. Unfortunately there are almost no regulations in the beauty industry in the US which means there are tons of toxic chemicals in a majority of cosmetic and skincare brands sold. If you are unsure about the products you’re using, check out the ThinkDirty App, it’s VERY eye opening. If you’re looking to try clean products but are unsure of what’s actually clean, check out Follain and Credo Beauty.

My clean beauty natural makeup tutorial is below. All products in the video are listed as well. I will be doing another video on my clean beauty skincare routine so stay tuned for that (in the meantime you can see what I’m using right now here).

Thank you so much for posting this!!!! I have been trying to transition to natural/clean beauty and home products. It’s nice to have somewhere to start! I didn’t know about the think dirty app and that is going to be so helpful! My question is- I’ve been using the well people mascara as well, but I’ve been finding it really starts to give me raccoon eyes after only about 3/4 hours of wear. Any tips? I love the way it makes my lashes look! Thanks!!

Hmm I haven’t really had that issue…are you wearing it on your top and bottom lashes?? I only wear it on top lashes. I wonder if it’s your eye make-up that’s mixing with it or something? You may need a waterproof version, which honestly I am not sure if there’s any clean waterproof mascaras out there…need to look into that.
