My Favorite Clean Beauty and Non-Toxic Products from Follain

I’m so excited to kick off a new series today with one of my favorite clean beauty brands, Follain. I often get questions about my favorite products from a brand, the truth is, I have so many. I struggle with where to house all my product recommendations and reviews because I try a lot but also don’t want to inundate with too many things at once. I decided to start a new series where I share my favorite clean beauty products from different brands. These posts are in no way sponsored and while some of these brands have gifted product for me to test, I will always only share the products I’ve tested that I love the most. Typically when I test a product it’s a two week minimum, though some products require longer testing periods (like serums, retinols, etc).

Today through Thursday (5/21) it’s 15% off site wide **some exclusions apply. Follain also offered to do a giveaway for you guys, so 3 lucky winners will get their mask set and spa headband. Enter at the bottom of the post. Winners will be randomly chosen on 5/21.

While Follain has an amazing selection of clean beauty, today I want to talk about my favorites from their skincare line and non-toxic products. I had the chance to test them before their release over the summer and not surprisingly I was really impressed. There’s a few standouts that I find myself reaching for over and over again.

Favorite Follain Non-Toxic and Clean Beauty Products

Follain Candle No 1

I wrote an entire blog post about my favorite non-toxic candles, but if I were forced to choose one, this candle would be it. It’s made with sustainable vegetable wax and a cotton wick. The scent is a blend of lavender, bergamot, sandalwood and vanilla and it’s perfectly subtle. You can smell it, and it’s incredibly pleasant but it’s not intense or over powering. Some people hoard toilet paper, I hoard these Follain candles. I also love to give them as a gift.

Ultra Hydrating Mask

As someone with dry skin this mask is a total lifesaver. I use it several nights a week as an overnight mask. It’s great after I’ve exfoliated too for an extra boost of moisture and hydration. It’s not messy so no need to worry about it staining your pillowcase. It’s packed with phospholipids and two types of sodium hyaluronate to help your skin retain moisture. My skin always looks amazing and feels super soft when I do this mask overnight.

Dual Detox Mask

Skincare with the word detox in it sometimes makes me nervous because my skin is really dry and there’s nothing worse than a product that dries me out. It just sets off a bad chain of events that can be hard to recover from. This detox mask is really good, even for those of us with dry skin. Exfoliating is actually really key to helping dry skin stay healthy and hydrated. With BHAs and AHAs it’s resurfacing to get rid of dead skin cells and purifying with a trio of clays. I like to use this mask in targeted areas like my t-zone and leave on for 15-20 minutes. I typically use this mask once every 7-10 days. You can also use it as a spot treatment for blemishes.

Everything Soap

Basically a soap that is what it says, an everything soap. Gentle on your hands, even with frequent washing. I love that it comes in a glass jar that looks nice on your countertop. I keep one at every sink in the house. The lemongrass and lavender scents are both really nice and I buy the 38 oz refill so it’s the only thing I have to repurchase. This soap and the candle are a great housewarming gift.

Hydrating Cleanser

When I wear makeup and need to get it off without stripping my skin this is my go-to cleanser. I keep it in the shower because Craig likes it too. It’s very creamy and has a nice lather but doesn’t dry you out. The scent is light and refreshing too.
