I’m excited to start sharing more of my daily outfits on here! As I move away from Instagram I’ll be posting more of what I’m wearing every week to the blog, which I also think is a lot easier because I can go into more detail about sizing, etc. It has been REALLY cold this week so it’s all about the layers. Here’s what I’m wearing today.
Daily Outfit 1.5.22
Athleta Altitude Tight
Ok all I can say is WOW. These leggings are an absolute game changer. They’re super stretchy and comfortable, thick, and fleece lined. My legs are TOASTY in these, seriously it was 3 degrees yesterday. In terms of sizing I’d say they fit TTS maybe a little big. I tend to go between an XS and Small in Athleta and the small was too big, even with the XS they’re not too tight (regular length is great and I’m 5’6″). They finally restocked a lot of sizes so I ordered the red. These are a great base layer too!
Sezane Marlon Coat
I love this coat because it’s so chic and stylish but also super warm. It’s made with wool, recycled polyester and bamboo. It fits true to size and has a bit of a boxy fit.
Sezane Achille Jumper
I’ve worn this sweater so much this winter. It’s really warm and I love the denim color. I layer it over a long sleeve shirt so the merino wool isn’t itchy. It runs slightly big.
Sezane Gatsby Mariniére
I have a thing for stripes and when a striped shirt also has buttons I’m sold. I love the tortoise button detail and thick organic cotton fabric. It has the same feel of the Saint James Breton (the thicker version). This shirt looks amazing under a blazer too. Super chic and comfortable. It fits slightly oversized.
UGG Adirondack Boot III
These are one of my favorite winter boots (see my others here). They’re super warm and great for snow. They’re also very comfortable. I went up to a 7.5 (my shoe size is 7/7.5) so I’d say maybe go a half size up, especially to wear thick socks. The color I have is from a previous year so I haven’t been able to find it.

I love this look! I am always interested in those Athleta tights but this dang VA weather making me questioning by winter clothes anymore! #climatechange
Thank you! I hear you winters in RI are so mild now, it’s still freezing in Vermont though.
I love this idea! It’s fun and useful to have more details on the outfits here. Also, definitely sold on those leggings!
Yay thank you!
Thank you for posting here! I swore off Instagram and FB about 4 years ago and haven’t looked back. It’s so refreshing to see bloggers coming back to their roots ?
Good for you! I’m excited to put more content on here.
I LOVE seeing daily/weekly outfits! I’m such a fan of Sezane. I also really enjoy reading blogs, I’m happy to consume your content here rather than Instagram. Thanks for sharing!
Great to hear thank you!
I have been eyeing this coat for a while now and finally bit the bullet and bought it this morning after seeing your post. I love having a versatile coat collection for our long Vermont winters (and up and down temps) and can’t wait to rock this coat with some cute leggings and my new Sorel boots!
Can’t wait to hear what you think! I know another Vermonter that got this coat and loves it. Coats are the fashion must-have here, it’s the only way I can switch up my wardrobe half the time.
Like you, I am moving away from Instagram. I am so excited to see you sharing your daily outfits here! ❤️
Thank you!
I always love seeing daily outfits and am excited you’ll be posting more here rather than Instagram – I agree with the other comments that I prefer this format!
Thank you I love hearing that.
Yes! Thank you for bringing more of this content to your blog (not on any social media myself). I love your mix of content and your style is a huge inspiration to me. Loving this outfit for its ease and cute vibe!
Thank you Stacia.
Love this format for outfits! There’s a lot of detail and it’s so easy to shop 🙂
Wooho thanks Jane!
Love the coat!! Reminded me to get mine out and wear it today (high of 10F here with wind chill well below 0 ?)
I like to see the winter outfits you wear even though I cannot wear them here. You look great! I miss all the seasons and the charm that can’t be found anywhere but there. I don’t know when I’ll get back to visit again . Hoping that I will❤️
Hi Jess- I think I remember seeing that you also have the Athleta rainier leggings. If you also have those, do you have a preference between those and these altitude tights for cold weather? Thanks!
Hi Kelly, the Altitude are definitely way warmer for colder weather. The rainier are better for indoor stuff when it’s cold but if you’re outdoors nothing beats the Altitude.
Love that you will be sharing more outfit posts to your website – as someone who also tries to avoid Instagram, I am excited!
