I am not somewhere warm right now, but I really, really want to be. I’m hitting my peak winter blues, and after 3 years of not traveling I’m getting desperate. I’m actually taking my first flight in a few weeks for a very short work trip to Nashville, I’ve never been so I’m really excited and also pretty nervous. Before I had Marin, Craig and I traveled usually once a month. It’s absolutely wild to think about that now because it feels like a lifetime ago. I know that traveling with a toddler won’t be a vacation, but I also know that I need some warm weather and sun ASAP, and June is a long time to wait. That beach looks pretty appealing right about now.

If you’re looking for something to buy, try, read, share or pin, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of the week…

I absolutely love Rachel Cusk’s writing and reading A Life’s Work felt like someone was reading my mind, except expressed so much more eloquently. I actually got very emotional while reading it. It’s now my go-to book recommendation for all new moms.
