If I learned one thing from my recent 48 hours in Philadelphia, it’s that the city of Brotherly Love certainly has a lot of heart. The main purpose for my visit was a collaboration with Anthropologie along with a visit to their HQ and the Terrain Store in Glen Mills, but I had a little down time to explore. Spring was just starting to show up as I arrived and while it rained for the majority of my stay it didn’t put a damper on my experience. Incredible restaurants, funky shops and tons of history, if Philly isn’t on your travel list, it should be. If you’re in the Northeast, it’s a super easy trip, about an our flight from Providence, even more of a reason to check it out. Philly is a super walkable city so bring comfortable shoes to explore on foot. For attractions and activities outside of the city you can very easily grab an Uber or Lyft.
Where to Stay
I stayed at the Ritz Carlton Philadelphia and had a great experience. Super friendly and accommodating staff and an incredibly convenient location made it the perfect place to call home for a few days. From my welcome amenities of rose and macarons to the spa with a steam and sauna it was the perfect place to rest after a day of activities. The lobby bar is absolutely stunning and I highly recommend grabbing a drink to take in the massive marble columns in this historic building established in 1908 as a former bank building (constructed to resemble the Pantheon). And make sure you treat yourself to breakfast in bed at least one morning, the pancakes did not disappoint.

Your hat is so lovely, it makes the ensemble look dreamy. I haven’t spent much time in Philadelphia, but I’ve always wanted to see the liberty bell. xAllie
