I think paperbag shorts need a different name. It’s not the most appealing descriptor. I love them, but nothing about the word paperbag screams chic and stylish, ha. These paperbag shorts ARE chic and stylish though, and so comfortable for summer. They fit pretty true to size, maybe a little bit oversized. The fabric is very lightweight and they’re a great length, not too long, not too short. Oh and they have pockets, so basically they’re perfect. They’re from one of my favorite ethical and sustainable brands, ABLE, and they’ve quickly become a wardrobe staple for me this summer. I’ve been wearing a lot of dresses, but I also like to wear shorts and while I love my denim shorts I don’t really want to wear them all the time. These feel sophisticated and classic, and ideal for hot, humid summer days. Today I’m wearing them with my White & Warren linen sweater and Sézane Christie Jacket.
