My Favorite Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Mother’s Day is only a few weeks away, and I wanted to pull together some of my favorite gift ideas. Some of us may be getting together with our families for the first time in a long time, and that is a gift in and of itself. If you’re looking for something sentimental, meaningful, or a little treat yourself present, I’ve rounded up plenty of ideas below. Almost all the below are woman-owned small businesses. A few of these have order/shipment windows with delivery dates beyond Mother’s Day, but they have options so you can give something wrapped on the day. You can’t go wrong with something from any of these wonderful shops.

Mothers Day Gift Ideas

Haverhill Co

I’ve posted about my customized birthstone and letter necklaces many times and I never take them off (they’re 14k gold so you can wear showering, swimming, working out, etc). I wear them every, single day and they still look as good as they did the first day I got them. Customize a birthstone necklace or bracelet or create a letter necklace with names or initials (or combine the two). There is still time to place orders for Mother’s Day including customized jewelry. Use my code JESS15 for 15% off your order. I recently got a single birthstone bracelet to add to my collection.

LAKE PAJAMAS

This is always one of my first suggestions when I’m asked about gifts for new moms. Lake Pajamas are so soft and feel like a little luxury, especially in those early days and weeks of motherhood. I usually get a robe as a gift, but any of their Pima sets are really nice too. They do shrink so I recommend drying on low heat and/or sizing up (I typically go with small for myself because I like a looser fit).

TALULAH SKINCARE

This is the most amazing, moisturizing body butter. Formulated for those with dry skin and eczema it is really nourishing and a little goes a long way so it really lasts. I gave this to my mom as a gift and she LOVED it. The scent is really nice, subtle and soothing but it also comes unscented if you prefer.

Yearly Co

Yearly Co is a Nashville based, woman owned fine jewelry company, specializing in 14k gold bangles. I’ve shared my Yearly Co stack many times and I wear my bracelets everyday (I never take them off). A great gift idea would be to give a sizing kit so you can determine the recipients size, and then you can pick your bracelets from there (the company will keep the size on file). You can use my code JESSANN2020 for free shipping on the sizing kit. Yearly Co also does custom projects. I had my Mom’s engagement ring made into two bracelets, one diamond is on a bangle that I wear and the other four diamonds are on a bangle my Mom wears.

Equilibria

You can’t go wrong with the gift of CBD. Whether it’s the relief cream for aches, pains, sore joints, cramps, etc., the softgels for better sleep or the daily oil for everyday use. I turned my mom onto EQ and now she’s a huge fan. She said it has drastically improved her sleep (she takes the softgels and mint daily oil) and she uses the relief cream for back pain. I also had her try the mineral soak when she was visiting for her sore back and she loved it. From 4/20 – 5/9, EQ is offering 30% off your first month of any subscription, plus, with my code, jessannkirby, new customers will receive an additional 15% off.

Jane Pope Jewelry

I first discovered Jane Pope Jewelry when I stumbled upon her name rings. I got one with Marin on it that I wear everyday. More recently, I had a custom necklace made with Nora’s nose print. The sample in the photo on the website looks larger than mine (pictured at the top of this post). You can give the nose print (or fingerprint) necklace as a gift with the wax kit wrapped in a JPJ box.

VANNA CHUPP STUDIO

Another one of my favorite everyday jewelry pieces, my 14k gold ring set with the silhouette and birthstone ring. Vana Chupp Studio has really sweet silhouette necklaces, lockets, customizable rings, and earrings. You can also get your pet’s silhouette on a piece of jewelry, either with stock imagery or you can use your own photo.

White & Warren

A classic and timeless wardrobe piece, the White + Warren travel wrap makes a really nice gift. I gave my Mom the travel wrap in fawn heather (I think it had a different name but the color looks identical) a few years ago and it’s one of her favorite wardrobe items. You can use my code JESS20 for 20% off your order.

overseasoned

Overseasoned has a great selection of tote bags, tees, sweatshirts, and tea towels with cute graphics and sayings. Marin has the “Root for Girls” onesie and I have the tee and sweatshirt. They’re super soft and great quality. I have a few of the tea towels too. I love the aprons for anyone that likes to cook.

artifact uprising

For the ‘hard to buy for’ I love getting prints from Artifact Uprising. The quality is really nice and they have a great selection from prints to photo books. I actually bought the baby book for myself and it’s really beautiful with lots of prompts and space for notes and other memories along with photos. It’s currently 15% off or 20% off orders of $200+.

FARMhouse pottery

Handmade pottery crafted right in Vermont (not far from our house), Farmhouse Pottery makes absolutely beautiful pieces made to last. A few of my favorites are the pantry bowl, the heart dish (I use it for my jewelry), the countryman crock, and any of the pitchers. For something really unique and special these limited edition face mugs are so cool.
