2020 GIFTS, BECAUSE THIS YEAR IS UNFORGETTABLE

I have an ongoing list of gift ideas that I add to as I work on my gift guides. I then group all of them into different categories depending on who I think the gift would be good for. This year, I had some randos that just didn’t quite fit anywhere, but seemed like good gifts for pretty much anyone, and they felt VERY 2020. So I give you, the very appropriate for 2020 gift guide.

What to shop

ONE. BIDEN HARRIS SWEATSHIRT

This sweatshirt was quite a hit when I posted it the other day. If you’ve got a New Englander or better yet a Dunkin fan on your list, this might just be the perfect gift. It’s very soft and runs pretty true to size. I got a large so it’s oversized.

TWO. TARTAN MASK

Because it wouldn’t be 2020 without a face mask. Khatu makes super comfortable, adjustable and reversible masks in lots of cute and seasonal prints. These are hands down my favorite face masks.

THREE. HAND SANITIZER

Just me or will every stocking this year have hand sanitizer in it? This one is a vegan plant-based alcohol formula that meets CDC’s recommended 60% alcohol. I keep the big one out at home on the counter and have the small ones in my bag and purse.

four. RBG ORNAMENT

My cousin gave me this ornament last Christmas and of course I’ll be displaying it proudly this year on the tree.

five. RBG calendar

Celebrate RBG’s life and legacy all year long with this 2021 calendar. I will be sending this to all the fellow RBG fans in my life. I love the artwork in this too.

Gravity Blanket

Just me or was 2020 the year of the weighted blanket? At the top of the “best lists” is the Gravity Blanket, which you can get in various weights. Apparently they can help with stress, anxiety and sleep quality. So I guess I need one.

Mask chains

Mask chains

I love these acrylic mask chains which make mask wearing so much easier especially when you’re out running errands or on a walk and don’t want to keep rummaging through your stuff looking for your mask every few minutes. Convenience and style so you can always have your mask within reach. RI based Capwell Co has a ton of options too, with lots of good styles for kids.

  1. Hi Jess,

I have been following you for a little over a year and have enjoyed your raw honesty, love of animals, desire to change the world, and your support of small businesses. We need more people like you in the world 🙂 My youngest daughter, Madison, who is now 22, has very similar ideals as you do, and I have encouraged her to pursue her passions (specifically, trying to make the world a better place, all the while continuing her college education). I’m very proud of her! I just wanted to share her website with you and your readers in hopes you will at least just take a look. Her stickers would make great stocking stuffers!!
