OMG that is my dream living room space. It’s just perfect . The furniture the colors , the style….everything I would have picked out if I could . I’m so very happy for you , I’m strangely crying . 30 years ago I bought a 200 year old extended cape that was redone in 1930 . It wasn’t what I wanted but it was all we could afford at that time to be there. At that time my former 1st husband was very handy and we had local wood and local carpenters . Surprisingly enough between the Antiques we brought with us from NJ and what we found in old barns and shops we came up with wide board new floors throughout and dark blue velvet couches and a grain bin coffee table and a very similar fireplace . My kitchen we did over with blue cabinets and black hardware , wide wood floors and handmade butcher block counters . The house was small and I didn’t have anything but magazines, instincts and a trip to Williamsburg for paint colors and spackling walls, a molding and a brick red bottom but it turned out beautiful and cozy like a cottage in its original form . That marriage could not survive for many reasons and I was a single mom for years and lost that house . I don’t have that look any more and I miss it terribly . I have a mix things antiques from my mom who is in heaven and my own things . I’m far from my beloved Vermont but watching your life and home come together makes me feel right there again . I know I’ll never get back but It has helped me through some big challenges and losses including a wonderful husband who has Altsheimers now . I had my own dream and to see you have yours with everything I loved too and the job you and Craig have done just blows me away . I’m so happy for you! It’s insanely magical ! I just love it! Love it! It’s amazing what painting a ceiling can do! We’ve also had to create an entry way out of think air – will use your set up for inspiration.

We moved to Lebanon last spring and have enjoyed your VT content! Love popping over to Woodstock. How excited are you for the Farmer and the Bell pop up at Simon Pearce? 🙂
